Why should I buy an extended warranty when my Hyundai is still under warranty
Hyundai HPP Extended Warranties go above and beyond(more years & miles) your original factory warranty. Due to a tiered pricing structure for HPP prices, the earlier you buy the extended warranty the lower the cost. The initial HPP extended warranty plans are additive coverages, meaning that the coverage you get, starts at time of purchase. If you wait until your Hyundai has more miles then the coverage starts at Day1. back to top
When will my HPP warranty take effect? Your Hyundai HPP Warranty becomes effective after 2 events take place. First, your completed/signed paperwork is received by our dealership. Second, it is processed by Hyundai Motor America, which typically takes 2 business days after we receive the signature. back to top
What if my Hyundai has over 36,000 miles? If your Hyundai has over 36,000 miles, HPP's administrator will only accept applications if they are
purchased with an onsite inspection. Therefore, unfortunately, our site cannot help you purchase a Hyundai HPP extended warranty.Click here for more informationback to top
When will my Hyundai HPP warranty start and end? These HPP extended warranty plans feature additive coverage as far as time(months/years). Additive means that the time-span(years/months) coverage that you purchase, starts at time of purchase. However-however the mile-coverage(48k-100k) takes effect upon "0 miles (Day 1)". As an example, let's say that you have a 44 month old Sonata with 37,000 miles on it and you buy an HPP warranty which provided coverage for 5 years and 60,000 miles ...therefore you would have coverage until your mileage was 60,000 miles or for the next 5 years(whichever occured first).
